We believe in empowering change. Every day we provide services for people, because we realize that providing for a physical need paves the way for us to provide for a

spiritual need.

Due to the concerns of the coronavirus and recommendations of national and state agencies, Operation Blessing will be doing a drive-through food pantry starting March 25th, Wed-Fri 10am-4pm. Our focus is to serve our elderly, disabled, homeless, and family clients (restrictions may apply). To schedule an appointment, please call our main number at 603-430-8561.

We also recognize that during these days of national crisis, it may be difficult for our elderly to leave their homes to get the supplies they need. Therefore affective March 23, 2020, Operation Blessing will offer residents of the Portsmouth area, who are are over the age of 62 (restrictions may apply), a mobile food pantry delivery service. Mon-Sat 10am-4pm. Anyone who is interested please contact Tammy Joslyn

at 603-988-2671.

Starting Friday, March 27th, 2020 Operation Blessing will be staffing a temporary portable shower/hygiene station at the Greenleaf Rec Center for our homeless population. Wed-Fri 1pm-4pm appointment only. Towels and hygiene kits will be provided while supplies last. Please call 603-430-8561 for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Needs List:

Double the population of Portsmouth struggles with food insecurity in the state of New Hampshire. This number will only increase during this time of crisis. Families with limited or no resources cannot afford food, let alone, stock up for two weeks supply.  Tho our community has a strong food network in place to feed our kids, families, and elders, these supplies are limited. Contributions at this time would empower us to continue to help those who struggle in our community.

Things that our clients are asking for at this time:

  • Toilet paper

  • Paper products

  • Hand sanitizers

  • Disinfectant wipes

  • Non-parashiable food items

  • unopened hygiene products

  • laundry soap/dish soap

  • Ground coffee (regular/decaf)

  • Coffee filters

  • Healthy frozen meals

  • Children's Diapers (sizes 2-6)

  • Trash Bags (13 Gallons)

Local grocery store gift cards and donating online enable us to buy in bulk.

Please call before delivering items, 603-988-2671.

APRIL 2020

Friday, April 24th, 2020

"Remember, our message is not about ourselves; we're proclaiming Jesus Christ, the Master. All we are is messengers, errand runners from Jesus for you. It started when God said, 'Light up the darkness!' and our lives filled up with light as we saw and understood God in the face of Christ, all bright and beautiful."

2 Corinthians 4: 5-7 MSG
