Operation Blessing seeks to be a good steward of the resources that go through its hands. Last year a software was utilized to give a conservative estimate of how many donations were flowing into the hands of men, women, and children in need. Pounds were converted into a estimated dollar amount. The result left everyone stunned: over $340,000 worth of material blessings were poured out into the community! That number does not account for all of the Thanksgiving and Christmas donations, nor does it account for all of the hours of prayer and moral support given.
It is a great time to be a part of OB!
With your help, we can do so much more this year. Donations of food, new/gently used clothing, or household items can go a long way to improving someone’s quality of life.
Volunteer and become part of the Operation Blessing team! We have openings for a cook, receptionist, and many more. Please email us at email@example.com for more information.
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things, God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. -1 Peter 4:8-11 (NIV)
